Who We Are

Girl Talk Today is a mentorship program designed to inspire and empower girls and young women between the ages of 5 to 25. Our mission is to equip them with essential life skills, nurture their potential, and help in their personal growth. Through Girl Talk Today, we provide training to prepare young women for financial independence, self-sufficiency, and confident leadership. Our goal is to create a community of young women who are assets to their communities and can contribute positively to society.

What We Do

Our mentorship program is divided into age-level modules and a GED module. Each module is composed of age and program-specific curriculum. Our curriculum focuses on a range of areas, including goal setting, building confidence and self-esteem, developing morals, values, and ethics, professional and personal etiquette, financial literacy, decision-making skills, communication skills, conflict resolution, intersectionality, healthy relationships and boundaries, mental, emotional and physical health, career path development, and community service.
